Issue description
The full prompt cannot be displayed here, and the horizontal scroll bar cannot be scrolled (when I try to move to the scroll bar, the scroll bar disappears because the focus leaves the loss curve)
Please describe the bug as clearly as possible. How can we reproduce the
problem without additional resources (including external data files and
proprietary Python modules)?

Research direction
Start by running diagnose_tensorboard.py in the affected environment and reproducing the loss image with a name long enough to truncate the prompt. Inspect the loss-curve UI reached from the attached screenshot; done means the full prompt values are accessible and the horizontal scrollbar remains usable when moving focus to it.
