Description

I'd like to please request a feature to be able to plot a time series with error bars around each data point. You could imagine sending a vector instead of a scalar to tensorboard for a given timestep. Tensorboard could then compute the mean and std dev and plot the point with error bars.

This would be super useful for stochastic data!

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named in the issue, so first trace TensorBoard's time-series plotting path and its data-input handling. Done would mean supporting vector values for a timestep, computing mean and standard deviation, and rendering error bars around each plotted point with coverage tests.
