Description
I believe it would be handy to have a global slider for visualizing images from different steps. At the moment, when I try to compare different image inputs and outputs, I have to slide each image individually.

Research direction
The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the image visualization UI and how individual image-step sliders are wired, then determine how one control could coordinate them. Done means images can be compared by changing a single global step slider without losing the existing individual behavior.
