Description

Screencast:

Screencast of dragging the mesh slider

I’d noticed for a long time that the mesh would rotate slightly when I
loaded new steps, but I didn’t realize that it was just capturing the
drag events.

It also captures and responds to arrow key presses on the slider.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the behavior shown in the linked screencast: drag the mesh step slider and use its arrow keys while observing whether the mesh rotates. The work is done when changing the slider no longer rotates the mesh.
