Description

Does this return latent ability, latent discrimination, latent difficulty or guessing probability.
It should seem clear while it is tough to figure out where it caries out simulation or derives the above mentioned parametrics which are vital to be used in Computerized Adaptive Systems.

Research direction

Start by locating the TFP experimental item response theory function mentioned in the issue and read its existing documentation and return-value definitions. Clarify whether it returns latent ability, discrimination, difficulty, or guessing probability, and identify where any simulation or parameter derivation is documented. Done means the function's psychometric outputs and relevant computation are clearly explained.
