Export Object Detection Models Without Preprocessor

I would like to export TF2.x object detection models without the pre-processing assuming a fixed input shape to simplify the graph. Is there a way to do this via exporter_main_v2.py script? If not would it be ok, if I modify the exporter script to add this option?
