Description

Prerequisites

1. The entire URL of the file you are using

https://github.com/tensorflow/models/blob/master/research/object_detection/model_main_tf2.py

2. Describe the bug

When running the command below, the script logs until Use fn_output_signature instead, prints ^C, and stops.

3. Steps to reproduce

  • label images using labelme
  • partition datasets into train and test set
  • use https://github.com/Tony607/labelme2coco to convert labelme annotations to coco format
  • Then, create coco tf record files
python ../scripts/preprocessing/create_coco_tf_record.py --logtostderr \
       --train_image_dir=images/train \
       --test_image_dir=images/test \
       --train_annotations_file=images/train.json \
       --test_annotations_file=images/test.json \
       --include_masks=True \
       --output_dir=./
  • Last, you can start training the model (which doesn't execute here)
