Description

Describe the bug

Looking at CI for Windows, segfaults are continuously occurring during the test portion and it is not known why. This could be related to running the dev server in a mssy2/mingw environment and not Ruby, unsure. Investigate.

Research direction

Start with the Windows CI test job and reproduce the segfault during the test portion. Compare the dev-server setup in the MSYS2/MinGW environment with Ruby execution, as suggested by the issue. Done means the cause is identified and the Windows test run completes without segfaulting.
