Research direction
Start by tracing WorkflowExecutionCancelRequestedEventAttributes and the client or command paths that issue workflow cancellations. Determine where the existing cause field is available to workflow code and where cancellation inputs are constructed. Done means the cause is exposed to receiving workflows and accepted when clients or commands issue cancels, with coverage for both paths.
