Description
Probably not with dfn, just special-case these (when preceded by a space). Needs to not link in algorithms and probably also should not be blue or get reference lists.

Research direction
Start by tracing the existing auto-link handling in ecmarkup and compare the requested behavior with tc39/ecmarkup issue 419 and the linked tc39/ecma262 issue 2047. Confirm that ! and ? are recognized only when preceded by a space, are excluded from algorithms, and do not receive blue styling or reference lists.
