Description

Hi

I'm testing aperture and I love having a cli to help setup our agents. We leverage opencode within our organisation but I can't seem to configure my opencode correctly with the aperture cli.

  • Run aperture cli for opencode
  • Select vertex
  • In opencode use vertex model
  • See error Could not load the default credentials. Browse to https://cloud.google.com/docs/authentication/getting-started for more information.

Happy to assist or give more information if needed.

Kind regards
Arne

Research direction

Start by reproducing the documented Aperture CLI flow: select Vertex for OpenCode, then run a Vertex model and capture the authentication error. Trace the Vertex provider configuration and authentication entry points used by the CLI. Done means the configured OpenCode Vertex setup no longer fails with the default-credentials error.
