Description
According to what I've been told, all or nearly all of this work is shipping in Swift and yet the proposal was never marked as accepted or implemented and the README for this repository seems to say that it's an early-stage experiment. When I want to brag on Swift's string processing facilities that makes my life hard ;-)

Research direction
Start by comparing the linked Unicode for String Processing proposal with the repository README and the current Swift implementation status. Confirm which work has shipped, then update the proposal status and README so they accurately describe the project; done means both references consistently reflect the implementation state.
