Description

I am trying to read a Swagger resource over https, in a testing environment, with (unfortunately) incorrect certificate. Swagger swagger = new SwaggerParser().read("https://some.bad.location/swagger.json"); results in swagger == null and no errors.

Research direction

Start at SwaggerParser.read with the HTTPS URL shown in the issue and trace how remote resources and certificate failures are handled. Identify the relevant tests or add coverage for reading a Swagger resource with an invalid certificate; done means the requested testing-environment behavior is explicit and failures are not silently returned as null.
