Description

Spring's generated Controller has java.util.concurrent.CompletableFuture as return type,
while hardcoded java.util.concurrent.Callable is used in delegate.

Due to inability do use parameter annotation in inherited objects generated code without delegation is quite useless.

thanks.

Research direction

Start with modules/swagger-codegen/src/main/resources/JavaSpring/apiController.mustache, especially the delegate section linked in the issue, and compare it with the generated Controller return type when java8=true and async=true. Reproduce the combination with delegatePattern=true; done means the generated controller and delegate use compatible asynchronous return types.
