COMPILATION ERROR : package org.codehaus.plexus.util does not exist

I'm using following version.

maven: 3.3.9
jdk: java-7-openjdk-amd64
JAVA_HOME="/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64/"

I'm getting packages type error when I'm running $ mvn clean package command. I'm new to use swagger to generate documentation(.yml file to .html)
