[swift3] unable to send string as body in post request

Description
I generated class files of swift3,i want to hit one webservice which is a post service ,which is expecting string as body parameter,but from swagger i got this code if i send string as body it will becomes null after executing this line
let parameters = body?.encodeToJSON() as? [String:AnyObject]
