Description
Description
I am building an app that has a sign in using http basic authentication. If the credentials are correct, it works fine. However for invalid credentials, I cannot access the status code (to test for 401) and the errors localizedDescription shows: cancelled

Research direction
Start by reproducing the generated Swift client request with invalid HTTP Basic credentials and inspect how failed responses are surfaced. Trace the error-handling path that turns the 401 response into a localizedDescription of “cancelled.” Done means callers can access the HTTP 401 status for incorrect credentials.
