Description

Is there any solution to generate an abstract class using Swagger Codegen ? (java/jaxrs or jaxrs-cxf) ?
If not, how can it be implemented in my own codegen ?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Java codegen paths for the jaxrs and jaxrs-cxf generators, including their model templates and configuration options. Determine how an abstract model definition would be represented and whether the generators can expose that choice. Done means a documented, working way to generate abstract Java model classes, with coverage for the supported generator variants.
