Description

Description

Is it possible to specify an online generator version in lieu of the base https://generator.swagger.io? Eg https://generator.swagger.io/v2.4.16.

The reason I want to do this is that there are some version changed my custom generator code trips up on.

We generally use the java generator but have found some (posted) issues with config file directives not being honored with some spec file.

Thanks.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the generator.swagger.io endpoint and the requested versioned URL format, then inspect how the Java generator handles configuration directives across generator versions. Done means determining whether version-specific online generation is supported and documenting the required behavior or implementation scope.
