Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the cube coordinate and WCS interfaces in ndcube, then determine the expected bounding-box representation for spatial and other axes. Done means a public API whose result can be used to overlay the cube extent on another image.
Written by the indexing model from the issue text.
Description
It would be useful to be able to get some representation of the extent of the cube along various axes (especially spatial) to over plot on other images. i.e. plotting the field of view of IRIS on an AIA image.
