Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
This possibility could help making the transition of Xenko GameStudio to .net core and cross platform easier.
Describe the solution you'd like
After having a look at the AvalonStudio project available here https://github.com/VitalElement/AvalonStudio
I felt like, since it's UI is really similar to Visual Studio and Xenko GameStudio. And its licence is basically a custom MIT (that could potentially be discussed with them in case of a collaboration), Collaborating with them could make the cross platform development of both projects a lot faster by sharing code.
It is programmed as well 100% in C# and uses AvaloniaUI to render its interface.
It would also allow for developers to have a similar development experience on all platforms as they would benefit from support of a cross platform IDE really similar to visual studio

Research direction
Start by reviewing the proposed collaboration in this issue and the linked AvalonStudio project. No repository files, tests, or implementation entry points are identified; done would require a defined collaboration scope and an agreed approach for sharing cross-platform IDE code.
