Description

Release Type: prerelease

Version: 4.4.0-beta2

Platform(s): Windows

Describe the bug
Game Studio running on Vulkan crashes when closing the scene editor. This might also be related to some other issues I had in a build where loading a new scene would cause a vague ExecutionException.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Change Game Studio Graphics API to Vulkan (and restart)
  2. Create a blank new project
  3. Open the project
  4. Wait for the scene editor to fully load
  5. Close the scene editor
  6. Crash

Expected behavior
There is no crash

Research direction

Start by reproducing the crash in the Game Studio scene editor with Vulkan on Windows using the listed steps, then inspect Report-vulkan-gamestudio-close-scene.txt and its callstack. Done means closing a Vulkan scene editor no longer crashes, with the blank-project reproduction path completing normally.
