Description

Release Type: Official Release

Version: 3.0.0.5

Expected behavior
I think the checkbox should probably not be centered and instead be on the right, allowing for more text to be displayed. Not sure about using indentation to denote the node position depth within the tree.

Also, using the search properties bar above the properties panel is less performant than expected.

Research direction

Start with the editor's skeleton properties panel and the search properties bar described in the issue, using the linked screenshot to understand the current layout. Trace how the nodes list is rendered and how search is performed; done means the checkbox and node text layout match the expected behavior and search responsiveness is measurably improved.
