Description

Release Type: Official Release + GitHub

Version: Everywhere

Platform(s): Everywhere

Describe the bug
The navigation in the Asset Preview Window allows a zoom to be too far & too close, so it isn't visible anymore.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. select Asset with Asset preview window open.
  2. Zoom in or out
  3. ... no limits

Expected behavior
There is a reset Button for the camera, but the zoom should only get closely to the presented "thingy" (e.g. model, sprite, effects...).
The zoom should not be possible, to zoom out as far as the "thingy" in the Preview gets disappeared.

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in the Asset Preview Window by selecting an asset and zooming in and out. Locate the preview's zoom navigation, then verify that zoom limits keep the displayed asset visible while retaining the existing camera reset behavior.
