Description

Frostbite implementation of hair strand rendering is explained in detail.

This would also mean we can have a new kind of hair material with textures informations for density/color/vertices/etc.

There's already some hair shaders in Stride that can be a good starting point for understanding the strands shading.

Research direction

Start by locating and studying the existing hair shaders in Stride, then compare their strand shading with the linked Frostbite hair-rendering explanation. The work is done when hair strand rendering is supported and a hair material can provide texture information for density, color, and vertices.
