Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named; begin by locating the generated PSy layer and determining how runtime options are currently handled. Define the correctness checks to support, including function-space validation, and treat the work as done when users can opt into those checks in generated code.

Description

enhancement

Currently the code generated by PSyclone contains no correctness checking.
In order to aid code development and debugging, this ticket will add the option of having PSyclone generate checks for correctness. One example is to check that the supplied fields are on the correct function spaces. This was previously 543 on SRS but no work was done there.
