Description
weightstats is growing more options, functions and method.
- Since I wrote them with different applications in mind, some options still vary across functions.
- There is also still some duplicate code that should be refactored.
- across modules the naming for the alternative is not consistent (e.g. 2-sided, two-sided), sometimes allowing aliases
- ttest use two or three functions, ztest uses only one function for one-sample, two independent samples, and two paired sample.
latest changes are in PR #784
changes and addition for normal distributions where partially based on being able to use them for testing proportion, correlation, and other statistics where we use a normal approximation.
