Description

Docker offers analysis portability across several machines.

The Rocker (R + Docker) project offers standardized Docker containers for R, Rstudio, Shiny, and other R package installs (e.g. install_shiny_server).

Would it make sense to offer a script that would install shinystan, e.g. with a cmdstanr backend? Maybe even brms also?

Research direction

Start by reviewing the Rocker install_shiny_server.sh example linked in the issue and the repository's existing installation workflow. Clarify whether the requested scope covers shinystan alone or also cmdstanr and brms, then define the supported Docker setup and backend. Done should mean a documented, reproducible installation script that builds successfully.
