Description
Description
See #390 for reproducible example and context.
This sub-issue focuses on the output structure of loo_compare, which is for the subsampling case a matrix, however we have updated this already to a data.frame in an earlier PR.
I make this a sub-issue as it requires rerunning reverse dependency checks.

Research direction
Start with issue #390 for the reproducible example and context, then review the earlier pull request that changed the output to a data.frame. Check the subsampling case of loo_compare and rerun the reverse dependency checks; the work is done when the output structure is consistent and those checks pass.
