Research direction
Start by reproducing the configuration change with the thv or toolhive CLI inside the Flatpak, then relaunch the Flatpak so the GUI loads. Trace how the GUI handles the secret store type and persistence; done means a user-selected value such as none remains unchanged after relaunch.
