Description

Affected Stackable version

24.3

Affected Apache NiFi version

1.25.0

Current and expected behavior

When a Kubernetes node running NiFi is rebooted the NiFi pod does not start successfully. Restarting the pod fixes the issue, but the expectation is that NiFi should start up following a restart of the node.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure with Apache NiFi 1.25.0 on Stackable 24.3: reboot the Kubernetes node hosting the NiFi pod and inspect the pod's startup behavior. Compare this with a manually restarted pod; done means the NiFi pod starts successfully after the node reboot without manual intervention.
