Description
We are currently shipping a patched version of HDFS in order to work around https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-16577
There seems to be no reason not to work on implementing this upstream to allow shipping an unchanged version again.
This is done when:
- HDFS-16577 is merged upstream
