Description
Hi,
Is there a means for closing an existing connection from server side?
I have a scenario where clients must be allowed to stay connected for a number of hours, or are allowed to transfer up to a maximum number of bytes, and should then be disconnected, being this controlled from server side. Is there a way for achieving this without sully shutting down the server?

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the server and client connection lifecycle APIs and their existing shutdown controls. Done means determining whether one connection can be closed without stopping the server and documenting the supported path or identifying the implementation gap.
