Description

I was wondering if anyone has tested the throughput using ForwardedPortDynamic, during my testing it seems to get half the speed of what a native ssh tunnel produces, is this expected? I assume that the performance won't be as good as it is when running it with ssh.

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by locating the ForwardedPortDynamic implementation and any throughput or forwarding tests, then compare its performance with the native SSH tunnel described in the report. Done means establishing whether the observed speed difference is expected and recording the result or a reproducible failure.
