Description
We recently ported code to Windows Server 2012 R2 64bit from 2008 Standard 64bit. We started getting following errors:
Stack Trace:Renci.SshNet.Common.SshConnectionException: The connection was closed by the server: Failed to read binary packet data! (ProtocolError)
We use SSH Key Exchange with passphrase. We tried with latest stable release and beta release but no luck. The same code would run just fine in Windows 2008.
I was wondering if this has anything to do with SHA1 Vs SHA2 or change in supported key exchange algorithms between OS.

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by reproducing the binary-packet ProtocolError on Windows Server 2012 R2 and comparing it with Windows Server 2008, then trace the SSH key-exchange and packet-reading path; done means identifying the compatibility cause and documenting or testing the resulting fix.
