Description
We are using Spring Data REST, but I think this issue should be related to Spring HATEOS, hence I post it here.
For security reason, we want no one be able to know the server IP address, but our trustest client app.
Right now, json response contains:
"href": "http://localhost:8080/books/1"
Anyway to remove the IP part from the link, so that json response is:
"href": "/books/1"

Research direction
Start by tracing how Spring HATEOAS builds resource self links and where the server origin is added to the href. Check the existing link-generation behavior and tests before deciding how a relative href should be configured or produced. Done means the response contains "/books/1" rather than "http://localhost:8080/books/1" while resource links remain usable.
