Rakesh opened DATAREST-572 and commented
Projections are a nice way to limit the network traffic.
But here's a typical scenario.
- I use lombok to auto generate getters and setters.
- Now, when a get method for a particular variable is needed on the Projection interface, I have to code the getter myself on the interface.
Instead, if the projection concept is similar to something like EntityGraphs as seen in JPA, it would be much easier to handle Projections
