Description

Marcel Overdijk opened DATAREST-369 and commented

When having an entity which extends org.springframework.data.jpa.domain.AbstractPersistable then the output from Spring Data REST contains the new field because of the isNew() method in AbstractPersistable.

I think it would be good to add a @JsonIgnore annotation to this method inside Spring Data JPA or do something smart in Spring Data Rest.

For now I have extended AbstractPersistable, overrode the isNew() method cal its parent and added @JsonIgnore.
