ResourceProcessor not triggered [DATAREST-127]

I wrote a simple ResourceProcessor to add a link to one of my entities. It works fine when I hit the canonical URI for the corresponding resource; e.g.,

http://localhost:8080/api/people/14

But when I view the resource indirectly--e.g.,

http://localhost:8080/api/people
http://localhost:8080/api/people/31/manager

the added link doesn't show up.

Is this the expected behavior? I would have expected SDR to trigger the ResourceProcessor for any rendering of the resource
