Oliver Drotbohm opened DATAREST-1481 and commented

Spring Data MongoDB's dependency on the Java driver became an optional one to avoid the synchronous driver to be pulled in to reactive MongoDB projects. Our MongoDB example thus needs to explicitly declare it
