RessourceSupport not serializable on spring boot 2.1.x [DATAREST-1363]

After upgrading to Spring Boot 2.1.x my previously working application suddenly is not working anymore. The serialization of any Entity which extends RessourceSupport.class suddenly is broken when setting properties.

I noticed this on the field links where getLinks() is annotated with @JsonProperty("links") and also with @XmlElement(name = "link", namespace = Link.ATOM_NAMESPACE). 

I read about serializers no don`t use reflection anymore to set values on Objects. RessourceSupport does not have a setter for the links List. Maybe this is the problem here with the new Spring Boot.

Something in the Springframework has changed so that any class exending Ressourcesupport fails to serialize with the following message:
