Parent entity doesn't show children if children are marked as exported [DATAREST-1247]

I have a spring-data-rest project with two tables:

• Invoice
• Items

Only Invoices are exported, Items are NOT exported using annotation: @Resource(exported = false)

If a request all the invoices I get this message:

    {
      Name: "PS",
      Quantity: 1

    {
      Name: "Joystick",
      Quantity: 1
    }
  ],

}}

Now if I mark Items as exported, removing the annotation or just changing exported to true, when I request all the Invoices I get this response:

  CustomerName: "John",
  CustomerId: 100,
  ....

    ...
    items: {href: "localhost/invoice/0/items"}
  }
}} 

Why Invoice is not getting the list of item anymore if Item repo is marked as exported? What I should do to have both?, Item marked as exported and a list of items in the invoice request?
