Raymond Bijl opened DATAREST-1199 and commented

Input should not be processed for methods with @RestResource(exported = false). These methods should always return 405 Method Not Allowed. However, because input is processed these methods can throw an exception which results in different HTTP status codes. See failing tests in example project: https://github.com/RaymondBijl/spring-data-rest-restresource-exported-false-issue
