Sam Kruglov opened DATAREST-1172 and commented

Like it is described here, if we exclude child repository from our application, Spring Data Rest will inline all children into their parent's JSON body. However, the produced SQL will select parent and children separately using two select statements, rather than using a single JPQL join fetch.

Affects: 2.6.9 (Ingalls SR9)
