Description
Michael Igler opened DATAREST-1062 and commented
Please consider the following code:
...
@NodeEntity
public class MessageCode extends ... {
@Relationship
private Product product;
...
}
Product is also annotated with @NodeEntity.
I used to update the product through a PUT-request ("application/hal+json") to "http://localhost:2600/api/messageCodes/12" with the JSON-content like this in JPA projects:
{ ...
"product": "http://localhost:2600/api/products/10"
... some more properties
}
This does not work in a new spring-data-neo4j project I recently created and I wonder why. Doing a PUT to the relationship ".../api/messageCodes/12/product" works. The corresponding curl-request would be:
curl -v -X PUT -H "Content-Type: text/uri-list" -d "http://localhost:2600/api/products/10" http://localhost:2600/api/messageCodes/12/product
So the questions is: Is there any difference between a JPA-project and a Neo4J-project considering this update-scenario through REST?
Affects: 2.6.1 (Ingalls SR1)
