Kai Tödter opened DATAREST-974 and commented

Spring Data REST automatically provides a "profile" link in the root API. While this is great in most cases, it would be nice if this link could be disabled on demand.

My suggestion is to provide a boolean application property, like
spring.data.rest.profile-link with the default set to true.

Affects: 2.6 RC1 (Ingalls)
