By default, deserialization in Jackson fails on the very first error that's encountered. That makes it problematic to use real value types in domain models as they'd throw exceptions for invalid values and thus abort the deserialization process without inspecting other properties to potentially report errors contained in those as well.

Jackson 2.8 ships an improved DeserializationProblemHandler API which we can leverage to collect the exceptions thrown from the deserialization process and then render a complete error report of all the ones encountered
