Gabriel Bauman opened DATAREST-781 and commented

When adding a member object to a collection defined by a composition-style relationship (@OneToMany, no backlinks) using JSON Patch, the newly added object's fields are set to null.

Demo project attached. Instructions to duplicate in README.md
