Description

Hi,

I tried creating a simple custom controller as given below to expose specific "Custom" resource. I get a Paginated result but the entities does not contain the self links and linked resources in it. I am using "1.3.5.RELEASE".

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong here. I used pageassembler to assemble the result returned by the repository.

@RepositoryRestController
@RequestMapping("/customs")
public class CustomController {

    @Autowired
     PagedResourcesAssembler<Custom> assembler;

    @Autowired
    private CustomRepository repo;

    /**
     *
     * @param pageable
     * @param resourceAssembler
     * @return PagedResources
     */
    @RequestMapping(value = "/search/findByCriteria", method = RequestMethod.GET)
    @ResponseBody
    public PagedResources<Resource<Custom>> getCustomByCriteria(Pageable pageable)       {

    	Page<Custom> page = repo.findAll(pageable);
        return assembler.toResource(page);

    }
}

I looked into the code of "AbstractRepositoryRestController" and "RepositoryController" but didn't find a convenient method to use the infrastructure of HATEOS and return a collection of resource.

Request someone to guide through.

Regards
Amit Shukla
