Description
i forked spring-restbucks and put JPA mapping informations in XML.
It worked until I commented the Id attribute in Order.
This throws a NPE without stacktrace. Debugging, i can see that RepositoryRestRequest contains a JpaPersistentEntityImpl with a null idProperty.
Steps to reproduce:
- git clone https://github.com/jclagache/spring-restbucks.git
- mvn jetty:run
- Run REST Shell
- follow orders
- get 1

Research direction
Clone the linked spring-restbucks reproduction, run mvn jetty:run, then use the REST Shell to follow orders and get 1 after commenting out the Id attribute in Order. Start by inspecting RepositoryRestRequest and JpaPersistentEntityImpl around the null idProperty. Done means the reported request no longer fails with an unhandled NPE and its behavior is covered or clearly verified for XML-mapped entities without an Id.
